Variety is the spice of life, especially when it comes to gourmet fare. That's why Princess offers several Specialty Dining options for you to choose from on every ship. These distinctive restaurants provide intimate dining in an upscale atmosphere. Reservations are suggested at these popular venues. And because these restaurants at sea are truly a special treat, a cover charge will apply per person.

Room Service

You may call for personal, complimentary room service at any time of the day or night. To have continental breakfast delivered to the stateroom, fill out the breakfast card included in the stateroom portfolio (one is also placed on the pillow) and hang it out at night on the stateroom door in order to receive delivery the next morning at the time of your choosing.

The complimentary room service menu includes sandwiches, salads, a selection of hot dishes and delicacies from the pastry shop; plus, coffee, iced tea and milk are available 24-hours a day!

Note: Dining options vary by ship. Once onboard, you may switch from Traditional Dining to Anytime Dining (subject to availability) with 24 hours notice to the Maître d'hôtel. Actual meal times are subject to change based on itinerary and season. Specialty Dining and Casual Dining venues vary by ship and charges may apply. Holland America Line Caters to Guests

To that end, many special dinners and culinary events are featured, including an unforgettable Master Chef's Dinner, a Captain's Dinner, an Indonesian lunch and much more. Beautiful rituals revolving around food are available throughout each cruise, including mid-morning ice-tea (on Caribbean itineraries); hot chocolate on the deck (Alaska itineraries), after-dinner cappuccino and espresso in the Explorers Lounge, and afternoon High Tea including, of course, Dutch royal tea and the new Indonesian Afternoon Tea and coffee Ceremony featured once per cruise. During the holidays, guests are provided with special surprises.
